Cindy is Head of Credit and Structuring at Legalist and a senior member of the firm’s leadership team. She brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of distressed investing, corporate restructuring, workouts, complex credit, and litigation-driven opportunities. Before joining Legalist, she was the co-founder of an investment firm focused on distressed credit, bankruptcy claims, and litigation-oriented investments. Earlier in her career, she was a senior member of the credit team at a multi-strategy hedge fund where she was also focused on distressed credit, bankruptcy claims, credit, and litigation-oriented investments.
She has also held senior legal and strategic roles at an asset manager of a large insurance conglomerate. Cindy began her career as a restructuring attorney at premier law firms advising companies, creditors, boards, and management teams through complex restructurings, both in and out of court processes. She has also served on several corporate and nonprofit boards. Cindy is a graduate of New York University and St. John’s University School of Law.
