Scott Whalen is a Managing Director on Legalist’s investment team. He joined Legalist in 2026 with more than 20 years of experience in distressed credit, workouts, and special situations investing, most recently at Silicon Valley Bank and previously running a distressed fund at PPMG.
Scott is a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania.
